Part 2: How to Sign Up for YouTube Music Premium Family
The information above assumes that you already have a YouTube Music account and want to set it up as a YouTube Music Family account. If you don't have an account yet, you need to go to the YouTube Music signup page, click family or student plan, and sign up directly for a YouTube Music Family plan. Here are ways to sign up.
Part 2.1: On Desktop
YouTube Music is YouTube’s music streaming platform, which gives you access to a catalog of music with some restrictions. YouTube Music Premium is the ad-free option, offering unlimited streaming at a cost of $10.99 a month.
Step 1 Open your web browser and visit the YouTube Music website.

Step 4 Choose the family plan and click the “Try it for free” option.
Step 5 The subscription page will appear when you click on the free trial option.
Step 6 Select "Subscribe." Once you verify your card information, you're done!
Part 3: How to Create a Family Group and Manage the Family Plan
• Create a Family Group
After getting the family plan, it's time to create a family group:
1. No more than five family members can be invited. Invites can be sent via text message or email.
2. Family members can verify their membership by tapping "Get started" after accepting your invitation.
3. After accepting the invitation, household members can join the group and use the family plan.

Adding Members
1. Log in to your Google Account connected with your Premium membership. And go to “Paid Memberships”.
2. Click MANAGE MEMBERSHIP.
3. Go to Family sharing settings, and click EDIT.
4. Click Invite family member if you want to invite someone.
5. Enter the phone number or email address of the family member you want to invite. Press Send. You’ll receive a notification when any member joins the family plan.
Removing Members
1. Follow steps 1-4 listed above.
2. Click on the name of the family member that needs to be removed. And select “Remove member.”
